It was a sad day for Evans Bros when Hefin passed away at home peacefully with family at his side on Thursday 29th May. ![]()

He qualified as a chartered surveyor in the 1950’s. After doing national service, he was made a partner in the business with Mr Charlie Evans in 1957. Along with excellent, loyal staff, a thriving business was established with the Mart at Llanybydder and property offices also at Aberaeron, Lampeter and Carmarthen. ![]()

Hefin enjoyed his career, mixing with the farmers in the mart and selling hundreds if not thousands of properties in his long career. ![]()

Hefin took great delight in seeing his offspring do well in their chosen professions, including carrying on his legacy in the family business. ![]()

Married for over 61 years, Hefin and Nerys had a long and happy life together and we know that he would like to thank Nerys for all her love and care for him to the end. ![]()

Fe gymhwysodd fel syrfëwr yn y 1950au. Ar ôl cwblhau ei wasanaeth cenedlaethol, fe’i gwnaed yn bartner yn y busnes gyda Mr Charlie Evans yn 1957. Gyda staff gwych a ffyddlon, sefydlwyd busnes llewyrchus gyda’r farchnad yn Llanybydder, ynghyd â swyddfeydd yn Aberaeron, Llambed a Chaerfyrddin.![]()
